Recently, the construction of the Phase II distributed rooftop photovoltaic (PV) project of Huai’an Xinjia Nylon Co., Ltd. has been fully finished. Neatly arranged solar panels now cover the factory rooftops, marking a major milestone in the company’s low-carbon green transformation.
Built on the factory’s large concrete rooftops, the project uses cement counterweighted mounting brackets that leave the original roof structure intact. Construction crews finished panel arrangement and bracket fixation by taking advantage of fine weather. Once connected to the grid, the solar power generated will primarily supply electricity to the company’s nylon production workshops for equipment operation and daily factory use.
As a zero-carbon clean energy source, photovoltaic power can replace conventional coal-fired electricity, greatly cutting fossil fuel consumption and carbon emissions during production. The self-consumption power model helps lower industrial power expenses and optimize the factory’s energy mix, advancing the enterprise’s eco-friendly manufacturing philosophy and green industrial chain development.
In active response to China’s dual-carbon goals, Xinjia Nylon has long prioritized eco-friendly production. The completion of the Phase II PV project is a key step toward energy conservation and emission reduction. After grid connection, the facility will fuel the upgrade of nylon manufacturing with renewable energy and contribute to local industrial green development and carbon reduction initiatives.
